The Year of Differentiation

At Scott Joplin Elementary School, we want to create students that are self-motivated, self-generated, and self-propelled, and view excellence as a habit, not an act.

To make our mission a reality, we understand that we need consistent and positive parental support that directly impacts student achievement and behavior. We want to take a team approach therefore, this does not just include support for the child, but also for the school the child attends. Thus, partnering together we can make a difference.

  • We promise to maintain a safe and orderly environment that will allow your child to reach his/her fullest potential.
  • We promise to communicate to you in a timely manner regarding matters related to your child.
  • We promise to expose your child to experiences and opportunities that will aid in their academic success.
